With the Spring season over, it’s time to relax and enjoy some fun weekends of Defenders of Troy (DoT) competitive lacrosse with our Trojan players looking to improve, build relationships with their teammates and have exposure to a variety of coaches. It’s also a great opportunity for our entire Lassiter lacrosse community to come together and celebrate this wonderful program and the culture we are building together.  

We are excited to have a great coaching staff joining us this year from our high school program, youth program and many Lassiter lacrosse alumni who are excited to work with our younger Trojans. Below is our list of coaches for this summer:

U9- Bryan Morelli, Greg Saulinskas, Christopher Uher and TJ Conrad (2017 state champion)

U11- Chris Stiso, Ryan Bruckman and Kyle Ronis (Both 2017 Lassiter State Champions)

U13- Ben Pridemore (4 year Notre Dame starter), Mike McGuire (Lassiter JV coach), Tommy Hennegan (Lassiter Alum and Limestone national champion)

JV- Dillion Gross- (Varsity D Coordinator), Charlie King (Current Loyola player and 2017 Lassiter champion) Choice Mostellar (Lassiter 2018 Captain and state runner-up, 2017 state champion).

Varsity- Lassiter staff – Coach Welch, Coach Goddard, Omari Turner (2017 Lassiter state champion) and Coach Bruckman (although I plan to float and work with all teams)

DOT Goalie Coach – Alex Crawford        

Our official practice schedule will kick off beginning Thursday May, 24and teams will practice Tuesday and Thursday evenings going forward over the next several weeks. Practice times and schedules are as follows:

U9:  5:30-7:00pm  Tuesday and Thursdays – Lassiter back field (smaller turf field)

U11:  5:30-7:00pm  Tuesday and Thursdays- Lassiter back field (Lax field)

U13:  7:00–8:30pm  Tuesday and Thursdays- Lassiter back field (smaller turf field)

JV and Varsity: 7pm- 8:30- Tuesday and Thursdays- Lassiter back Turf (Lax field)

 As soon as uniforms arrive we plan to have a team coordinator from each team help to distribute uniforms and look to collect final checks for summer registration.
