Our Defenders of Troy (DoT) boys summer program earned its first championship of the 2017 summer season at the last tournament of the season in which we competed. The 2018/19 high school team grinded out a 5-0 record over the weekend against some competitive select programs to win the championship at the Asheville Lacrosse Classic in North Carolina, making coaches Adam Bruckman and Chuck Goddard proud for Father's Day.
Overall for the tournament the DoT boys program earned a respectable 12-7 record across all age groups: 2018/19 (U17), 2020/21 (U15), 2022/23 (U13) and 2024/25 (U11).
Rising seniors (pictured in the photo on the right from left to right) Dominic MacJack, Zach Alexander, Logan Smith, Colvin Prosser, Justin Edwards, John Michael McCormack, Choice Mostellar and Zach Parsons taste victory one more time after playing in their final DoT summer tournament.
Way to go boys!
